FAMILY FUN DAY – WALK FOR DONATION

Family Fun Day is an annual charity event in SHB, designed to promote social responsibility among SHB families. This year, the event was held on Saturday, November 18, 2023. Preliminary activities had commenced one day earlier.  On Friday, November 17, 2023 the preschool students joined sports competitions.  Early in the morning on Saturday, November 18 2023, people were coming with their families to join a walkathon. Ms. Melany herself, the Head of Harapan Bangsa School, Modernhill opened the walkathon at 7.00 am.  Being tired of walking, the participants were then invited to contribute in photo booths, bazaars, and game booths. Other than that, the performances on the stage including aerobics were continuously entertaining the participants who crowded the bazaar area. At the same time, some of the preschoolers and lower primary students joined the colouring and photo decorating competitions. Overall, the programs ran smoothly. Most of the plans and preparations were executed perfectly. Thanks to the previous reminders and socialization in the morning briefing, students contributed significantly during the event. Recorded, there were 217 preschool and primary students coming with their families to join the event. It shows that they take social responsibility as something important, something that supports the noble character that this school intends to achieve.
