On this occasion, the highlight of the main event was the launch of two book titles by Junior High and Senior High Harapan Bangsa Modernhill. The titles of the two books are as follows:
First Title: Sembagi Arutala
“Sembagi Arutala” is an anthology of short stories written by Grade 9 students, totaling 420 pages. The title, “Sembagi Arutala,” translates to a dream painter who carves traces of the sky with dreams as high as the moon. With determination and tenacity, they sailed the night sea to the peak of their glory.


Second Title: Baiduri Baiduri is an anthology of Grade 7-12 Student poetry and Grade 10 Student short stories, totaling 519 pages. Baiduri means young writers who are valuable, like sparkling gems in various colors and shapes.


The book launch event took place at the SHB 5 hall building, commencing at 08:15 WIB. The opening of the event received a warm and lively welcome from the MCs, Sofia (Grade 7) and Maureen (Grade 10). They invited Mr. Purnawarman, Mrs. Melany, Pak Joko, and Mrs. Juni to take their designated places. The event began with a prayer led by Ms. Martha.


After completing the opening prayer, it was time for a warm welcome from the High School Principal, Mr. Joko. He extended a welcome to the students of Harapan Bangsa Junior High and Senior High, along with their parents who were present. Mr. Joko offered words of encouragement to the young individuals destined to become future leaders of the nation and expressed appreciation for the publication of the students' written works in book form. This book has the potential to increase the reading interest and literacy of Harapan Bangsa Junior High and Senior High School students.






The first performance of this event was the reading of Mrs. Indra's poem titled “Menggapai Cakrawala Tuk Meniti Sejarah” by Lola, a Grade 8 student. This poem was also featured in a book published by children titled “Sembagi Arutala and Baiduri.” Lola, with a clear and confident voice, read the poem, leaving the audience amazed. The performance concluded with thunderous applause.

The second performance was the musicalization of the poem “Perasaan” author by Gameel G7A, This musicalization of the poem performed by Rhea G10 and accompanied by Gwen G10 (guitarist) and Merry G10 (pianist). With a melodious voice, Rhea read poetry with a beautiful rhythm like singing a song, Gwen and Merry played musical instruments together well to accompany Rhea, creating a beautiful and harmonious atmosphere.

The third performance featured the singing of “Tanah Air Ku” by Ojwala, a Grade 8 student. The song “Tanah Airku” carries a meaning about national values and love for the homeland, and it was written by Mrs. Sud. Ojwala, with a beautiful voice, delivered a rendition of the song, expressing her appreciation for it. Listening to this song is not only enjoyable but also provides an understanding of the meaningful lyrics it contains.

The fourth performance was a saga drama presented by Grade 10 students. This drama narrates the story of Klenting Kuning, Merah, and Biru. Klenting Kuning, being favored by her father, stirred jealousy among her siblings. One day, Klenting Kuning received a necklace, which was forcibly taken from her due to envy. Klenting Kuning was pushed and met her demise, but her kindness will always be remembered. The moral values derived from this drama include cultivating an attitude of mutual assistance without expecting anything in return.


The fifth performance featured the singing of the song “Indonesia Pusaka” by Bella, a Grade 7 student. The song “Indonesia Pusaka” conveys the meaning that Indonesia is a resilient country destined for eternal victory. Indonesia is likened to a heritage that will endure throughout the ages, from the pre-independence struggle to the present and into the future. Bella passionately sang “Indonesia Pusaka,” accompanied by the music teacher, Mr. Matho.

It was time for the main event, the “Book Launching.” This event was structured as a talk show, with the guest star being Raditya Dika, a well-known celebrity, book writer, and film director who has published numerous books. Witnessing young individuals from Harapan Bangsa School succeeding in publishing books left a special and positive impression.
The talk show featuring Raditya Dika was moderated by Ms. Levina (SHB Modernhill Alumni) and Ms. Yanti (SHB teacher). Ms. Levina, as a moderator, is a young and enthusiastic individual with a creative approach to event hosting, while Ms. Yanti has a background in education and posed educational questions. Throughout the event, Raditya Dika energetically provided answers and input, with several students also posing questions.
The students were elated by Raditya Dika's presence, making their written books even more special and valuable. In the question and answer session, Raditya Dika also received questions from the Principal. It became evident that Raditya Dika serves as a role model, demonstrating that writing books not only enhances insight and literacy but can also lead to career success.
The talk show concluded with the symbolic launch of the books “Sembagi Arutala” and “Baiduri,” with Mr. Joko, the school principal, presenting the books to Raditya Dika. Mr. Pur (Deputy Chairman) then awarded a plaque to Raditya Dika. The event concluded with a group photo. This event is expected to leave a lasting impression on the students of Harapan Bangsa Junior High and Senior High School, inspiring them to be more enthusiastic, especially in the realm of written books and to further enhance their literacy skills. The event closed with a prayer led by Ms. Yanti.
