Teachers’ Day : Teacher and Student collaboration

The school year 2023/2024 marks the first year that Sekolah Harapan Bangsa Modernhill has fully implemented offline learning after more than 2 years of the global pandemic. This situation requires an adjustment from online learning, where there are limitations between teachers and students to interact directly in offline learning.

This Teachers' Day event is expected to strengthen the relationship between teachers and students through joint activities. Additionally, with this activity, students can refresh their condition after completing the Semester Final Examination through activities that require good physical condition, teamwork, and strategies to win the game.

The Teachers' Day event began with a flag ceremony and prayer together, followed by games that required collaboration in completing the game challenges given. As a token of appreciation for teachers, students were asked to make greeting cards containing heartfelt notes to teachers, short video clips, and performances by students honoring teachers and expressing gratitude for all that teachers have done. The students also served dishes to eat together at the decorated table. At the end of the event, it was closed with prayer and eating together.

This event has been running well and full of fun for the students and teachers. In addition to helping refresh the minds of students and teachers after following the learning process this semester, it also created a better relationship between students and teachers to walk together to achieve common goals.
