UNIVERSITY VISIT 2024 ARTICLE

On February 13, 2024, students from grades 10 and 11 at Harapan Bangsa High School embarked on a university visit to the University of Indonesia's Faculty of Economics and Business. The University warmly welcomed the visit, which included a series of activities. Mrs. Devi Sefutri Widy, MM., Assistant Manager for Postgraduate Education at FEB UI, and Mr. Sugeng Wahyudin, S.E., head of the CDC section of the FEB UI Student and Alumni Affairs Office, delivered welcoming remarks. The University viewed this visit as an important effort to introduce students to the university, its departments, and admission processes, particularly at state universities. Mrs. Devi and Mr. Sugeng explained the programs offered at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Indonesia.

Harapan Bangsa High School, represented by Mr. Dr. Agustinus Joko Purwanto, expressed gratitude to the University by presenting plaques and souvenirs. The event was vibrant, featuring a traditional Betawi dance performance by Raphaela Christalynell Audrianna and song performances by Rhea Eiber Manurung. Following the presentations and introductions, students took a campus tour of the Faculty of Economics and Business.

This visit aimed to provide students with information about preparing for admission to public universities and to broaden their perspectives. In addition to learning about the majors offered at the university, students gained a clearer understanding of the higher education experience.
