SEASONS DAY

The preschool section of Sekolah Harapan Bangsa Modernhill Pondok Cabe celebrated Seasons-themed Day on February 28^th 2024.

Giving experience is an effective way to teach young children, especially when they have fun and unforgettable experiences. In this event, students will learn about the environment, especially about seasons. The students will learn about the concept of time. They start to get an idea of how time passes to the different situations they encounter in their day-to-day life. These events occur in a certain order helps the little ones to get a better understanding of time and how important it is. Learning about seasons of the year and their transition helps kids better comprehend how time works. Seasons’ changes are very distinct in certain parts of the world, and this is a thing that the students notice from a young age. The best way to do it would be to teach students the characteristics of each season so they can easily differentiate them.

Before the event started all the students warmed up to more understanding about four different seasons in the world.  Students and all the preschool students participated by dressing up in various seasonal events, such as beach dress in summer, jacket, gloves and boots in winter, raincoat in autumn, and colorful dress in spring.

The classes conducted various activities. The teachers decorated some of schools rooms to become very interactive and fun to made the students learned about four seasons. Students do mush activities such as created colorful flowers stamp to represent spring using soda bottle, paint and brush, on provided worksheets. They played under the artificial rain with raincoat and umbrellas in autumn, played on the artificial snow with winter coat, and also played with sand beach, bubbles, beach ball in summer school area,

Some of parents from kids’ club and playgroup are accompany their kids to playing at it event and they are very enthusiast and appreciate with the seasons day event 2024.
