Community Service Activity of Harapan Bangsa Modernhill School 2024

Fostering Compassion Towards Others

On Thursday, June 6, 2024, Harapan Bangsa Modernhill School (SHB) held a Community Service activity aimed at raising students' awareness and compassion towards others, especially for those with special needs. This event took place at SKh Bhakti Luhur Pondok Cabe with tremendous enthusiasm from the participants.

From 8:00 to 10:00 AM WIB, a total of 21 students from various levels, both junior high and high school, actively participated in the activity. Mrs. Sisilia Juni Arianti, representing SHB, gave a warm welcome and handed over donations to SKh Bhakti Luhur, which were graciously accepted by the Principal, Mrs. Agustina Merdeka.

The donations from SHB included various much-needed items such as computers, a printer, a motorcycle jet cleaner, large trash bins, 10 packs of rice each weighing 5 kg, cooking oil, bath soap, dishwashing soap, and laundry detergent.

The main activity during the event was creating batik iket together, guided by SHB students. Additionally, there were coloring activities and puzzle games accompanied by SHB students. All these activities aimed to create positive interactions between SHB students and SKh Bhakti Luhur students.

A total of 42 students from SKh Bhakti Luhur participated in this event. The event concluded with the presentation of gift packages to SKh Bhakti Luhur students by SHB student representatives.

This activity was conducted with enthusiasm and joy. The SHB students managed to mingle and interact warmly and pleasantly with the SKh Bhakti Luhur students, creating a friendly and enjoyable atmosphere. It is hoped that this activity will not only be a valuable moment for those who receive it but also for all participants involved in giving and receiving kindness.
