ARTICLE OF SHB MODERNHILL SEMINAR

On Wednesday, December 11, 2024, a seminar was held featuring two speakers, AIPDA Dadang and AKP Tri Retno, S.H. The seminar was attended by all students of SMP and SMA Harapan Bangsa Modernhill. The theme of the seminar was “Socialization on Strengthening Character Education: Preventing Bullying and Addressing Adolescent Issues in the Digital Era.”

During the seminar, Ms. Retno explained the importance of preventing bullying in the school environment, while Mr. Dadang provided socialization on preventing the use of narcotics. Character education in the digital era is a crucial foundation for preventing bullying and helping adolescents address issues arising from technology use. Through this socialization, students are equipped with strong moral and social values, enabling them to act more wisely, empathetically, and responsibly in their digital lives.As we face an ever-evolving world, it is essential to continually strengthen character education so that students can grow into individuals who are not only intelligent but also have good character and the ability to face the challenges of the times with confidence and wisdom. The goal of this seminar was to understand the importance of strengthening character education in preventing bullying and other social issues, so that participants, especially adolescents, can grow into intelligent, ethical individuals ready to face increasingly complex global challenges. Meanwhile, the benefits of this seminar for the students include increasing awareness about bullying and adolescent issues, creating a safe and positive environment for teenagers, and encouraging the wise use of technology.
