Joyful and Touching: Harapan Bangsa Kindergarten B Graduation Ceremony 2025

Wednesday, June 4, 2025, was a memorable day for all graduates of Harapan Bangsa Kindergarten B. This year’s graduation ceremony was filled with joy and emotion, marking the end of their kindergarten journey. Early in the morning, all graduates arrived at school with their parents, proudly wearing traditional Betawi attire; Abang and None Jakarta costumes with their graduation gowns worn over them. Upon arrival, students lined up for their studio photo session to capture the moment forever. After the photo session, the children were seated in their designated spots, while the parents took their seats in the guest area. The event began with a warm welcome from the MC, who greeted the graduates of TK B Modernhill, ready to take their next step in education.

To open the ceremony, the Kindergarten A students performed a vibrant Ondel-Ondel dance. Their performance amazed the audience and brought smiles to everyone’s faces. Following the dance, the Kindergarten B graduates, accompanied by their class teachers, walked down a red carpet toward their seats. The event continued with an opening prayer led by the Catholic religion teacher, followed by the singing of the national anthem “Indonesia Raya” and the school Marsh ” SHB,” led by one of the TK B students with great spirit. The highlight of the day was the graduation procession. One by one, the students received their mementos from the principal and homeroom teacher, a diploma scroll, a plush doll, and an achievement medal. The proud and emotional atmosphere grew even stronger as the children showcased their talents.

They performed student pledges, speeches, and recited rhymes and poems in three languages: English, Mandarin, and Indonesian. The event concluded with a heartfelt performance of songs dedicated to their teachers, friends, and parents. During the song for mom and dad, the children presented a bouquet of flowers with messages of gratitude. Many parents were visibly moved by the heartfelt gestures. As the grand finale, the TK B students performed the ‘Jali Jali” song and dance once more, beginning and ending with traditional Betawi rhymes (pantun). All the guests were thoroughly entertained and impressed by the children’s amazing performance. This celebration was a beautiful ending to their journey at Harapan Bangsa Kindergarten. May all the graduates continue to achieve success, make their parents and teachers proud, and carry the good name of SHB into the next level of their education.
