Camping is not only a fun activity, but it also has many benefits. Although camping is synonymous with preparations that can be quite troublesome for some people, the many benefits it offers for children's growth and development make it an ideal activity to do with children, whether in a family or school setting.
In the past, children had the freedom to play in the open air, running around in wide fields or even exploring the bushes, playing with grass, or catching animals with their peers. Unfortunately, this is no longer possible for children living in today's world.
It is not uncommon for parents to have to set aside time and take their children camping just to experience the fresh air and enjoy the view of lush trees in the great outdoors.

Similarly, Preschool Harapan Bangsa Modernhill held a “Fun Camp” activity on Friday, August 29, 2025, with the theme “Little Campers Learning Adventures.” The activity was attended by children from the Kiddy Club to Kindergarten B levels. The activity was carried out around the school, with tents for camping set up under the SHB 2 foyer.
The activity was carried out to stimulate the children's physical, motor, emotional, and sensory skills. The Fun Camp activity was designed to suit the children's age and had several specific objectives, namely:
1. To train children's motor and sensory skills
2. To train children's social and emotional skills while playing together
3. To train cooperation and caring among children
4. To build closeness between students and teachers
5. To train self-confidence
6. To build children's courage
7. To train children to solve problems
There were many activities for the children during the Fun Camp. These activities included a morning walk together, a treasure hunt, a bonfire, storytelling, and sleeping in tents. The children looked happy while doing all these activities.
