Harapan Bangsa Modernhill Elementary School Holds a “Joyful Mid-Autumn Festival” Celebration

On Wednesday, October 8, 2025, Harapan Bangsa Modernhill School enthusiastically held a Mid-Autumn Festival Activity with the theme “欢乐中秋” or “Cheerful Mid-Autumn Festival.” This event was attended by all Harapan Bangsa Elementary School students who performed songs in Mandarin and dance movements presented by students in Grades 2, 4 and 6 of Harapan Bangsa Elementary School to demonstrate their abilities in Mandarin and their understanding of Chinese traditions and culture.

During the event, Harapan Bangsa Modernhill Elementary School students performed dances and songs in Mandarin that reflected the spirit of togetherness and joy. During the Mid-Autumn Festival (Mooncake Festival), the atmosphere in the Facilities Building Hall (SHB 5) was filled with joy, as seen in the children's facial expressions as they sang happily and enthusiastically, and their stunning movements received warm cheers and applause from the audience.

The aim of this activity is to introduce and foster the love of Harapan Bangsa Modernhill Elementary School students for culture and traditions in Chinese society, especially in maintaining family unity and togetherness.

Following the Mooncake Festival, each student at Harapan Bangsa Modernhill Elementary School received a mooncake, the central symbol of the celebration. All students in grades 1-6 participated in the event, which proceeded in an orderly, warm, and meaningful manner.

This activity is expected to foster a love and appreciation for Mandarin Chinese, while also fostering its values ​​and meaning, particularly in fostering a spirit of family unity and togetherness.
