Family Fun Day Event 2026: Reviving the Spirit of Charity Elementary Harapan Bangsa Modernhill

Harapan Bangsa Modernhill Elementary School's 2026 Family Fun Day event marked the return of the true meaning of the Charity Walkathon, which emphasizes caring for and supporting others. To celebrate Harapan Bangsa Modernhill School's 20th anniversary, the committee also invited alumni to participate in this special event.

The event, held on Saturday, January 31, 2026, was filled with a series of activities that began with a sports competition for kindergarten students with several other schools the day before. The next day, Harapan Bangsa Modernhill Kindergarten-Elementary School students together with their families joined the Walkathon Activity officially opened by Ms. Mediana and Ms. Neneng. After that, the participants could continue to enjoy various other activities such as a photo booth, bazaar, games, and performances on stage. Meanwhile, alumni could visit a photo and artwork exhibition that showcased Harapan Bangsa School's journey which contained their photos when they were students at Harapan Bangsa Modernhill Kindergarten and Elementary School as well as various kinds of paintings and crafts from students from 2005 to 2025.

The Family Fun Day event ran smoothly and successfully. This was made possible thanks to the hard work of the Harapan Bangsa Modernhill School's teachers, staff, and maintenance staff, who actively collaborated, supported by the participation of kindergarten and elementary school students, parent representatives, and parents from each class through donations and a charity bazaar. As a school community, we are proud to foster empathy and concern for underprivileged children through the POTADS Community (Parents of Children with Down Syndrome Association).
