Sekolah Harapan Bangsa Preschool-Modernland Chinese New Year Celebration

Chinese New Year is one of the most important tradition. It begins during the first day of the first month on the Chinese Calendar and ends with the “Cap Go Meh”. Chinese New Year’s Eve is known as “Chu Xi”. In welcoming the Year of the Rat 2020, Sekolah Harapan Bangsa Preschool-Modernland wishes you a Happy  New Year, we hope good fortune and happiness will always be with us.

Sekolah Harapan Bangsa Preschool- Modernland celebrated the New Chinese Lunar Year of the Rat last February 7, 2020. Attended by Sekolah Harapan Bangsa Preschool- Modernland families. The hall was filled with Chinese New Year ambience, starting from the rhythmic music, colorful Chinese traditional costumes until the artistic decorations. After practicing diligently, all students did show their best. The first were: dance performances from the Kiddy Club & Playgroup, CCA performances and mini-drama “The Legend of Nian”played by Kindergarten A & Kindergarten B students. We also had the lion and the dragon dance show. Most of the students and parents gave the red envelope or “hong bao” and they took pictures together with the lion dance performers. Everyone went home with a happy heart and good memories.
