Guiding a Responsible Generation

On Wednesday, September 17, 2025, the school held its first flag ceremony of the 2025/2026 academic year. The ceremony was attended by all students from grades 7 to 12. The ceremony officers on this occasion were the 12th-grade students, who had prepared themselves well to carry out their duties.

The theme of the ceremony was “Responsibility.” This theme was chosen to instill the values of discipline and self-awareness in all students from the very beginning of the new academic year.

Serving as the ceremony supervisor was Mr. Anton Fitrianto, who in his address emphasized the importance of responsibility, especially in simple matters within the school environment. He conveyed that responsibility is not only related to big matters but also to small everyday habits.

One example he gave was how students must take responsibility in preparing for the Mid-Semester Examination. Every student is expected to study and review the topics or materials provided by their subject teachers so they can face the exams with confidence and achieve good results.

The ceremony proceeded solemnly and orderly. All participants followed the event with seriousness, showing enthusiasm and readiness to begin the new academic year. It is hoped that the value of responsibility, which was the theme of this ceremony, can truly be applied in the students’ daily lives, both inside and outside of school.
