Health Seminar and Sex Education

On Tuesday, December 16, 2025, SD Harapan Bangsa conducted post-activity programs, one of which was a Health Seminar and Sex Education. The seminar was themed “My Body, My Responsibility.” The activity was held from 07.30 to 10.00 and was delivered by two speakers from Primaya Hospital Tangerang, namely Dr. Yongky Wijaya and Dr. Chyntia Mary.

The seminar provided very important information, especially for children who are beginning to question the changes in their bodies, as well as how to maintain personal health and hygiene.

The event was divided into two main sessions. The first session was for Grades 4, 5, and 6, focusing on hormonal changes, physical development, and puberty in both girls and boys. The students were separated into two groups: female students attended the session with Dr. Chyntia, while male students attended the session with Dr. Yongky.

The students showed great enthusiasm by paying close attention and asking many questions about topics that were still unfamiliar to them. The doctors responded openly and clearly, making this activity very beneficial and impactful for the students.

For the second session, Dr. Chyntia continued the seminar focusing on health and personal hygiene for students in Grades 1, 2, and 3. The material included proper handwashing techniques and maintaining cleanliness of the mouth, body, hands, nails, hair, and other external body parts. Through this session, students gained a better understanding of the importance of maintaining personal health and hygiene.
