January 15, 2026Harapan Bangsa Modernhill School held a joyful Christmas celebration on Wednesday, December 17, 2025. All students from Harapan Bangsa Modernhill Kindergarten and Elementary School participated in the celebration, enlivened by various performances, including dances and songs, as well as dances and songs from Christian and Catholic students. The cheerful atmosphere, filled with warmth, was felt from the moment the event began.
In addition to the joyful singing and dancing performances, the Christmas message was also conveyed through the puppet show “Cici the Little Rabbit” performed by several teachers at Harapan Bangsa Modernhill School. All the Kindergarten and Elementary school students listened and attentively observed the puppet show. This show tells the story of a small, kind-hearted rabbit who still wants to do good and befriend other animals in the forest. At first, the other animals teased and refused to be friend “Cici the Little Rabbit” because of her small size and perceived weakness. But then they came to their senses and apologized to Cici for their unkind words and actions. The Christmas celebration also concluded with a prayer led by Brother Ramli, who was also present as a guest at the event.
The Christmas celebration at Harapan Bangsa Modernhill School was not just a celebration, but also filled with messages that taught love, mutual respect, and care for others. During this celebration, all students from Harapan Bangsa Modernhill Kindergarten and Elementary School also learned to share by donating to underprivileged children at the Fajar Baru Orphanage. This donation activity taught all students to have empathy, care for those less fortunate, and interpret Christmas as a moment to love one another and share kindness with others.
