One Day with SHB Secondary: Explore, Create, and Grow

On Monday, 24 August 2026, Grade 6 students of Sekolah Harapan Bangsa Modernhill joined the One Day with SHB Secondary program at the SHB 4 Building. The activity introduced students to the Secondary School environment through fun, interactive, and hands-on learning experiences.

Students explored a variety of activities, including:

Biology – Microscopic Observation

Students discovered the microscopic world and developed their observation and scientific inquiry skills.

Chemistry – Discover, Experiment, and Connect

Through simple experiments, students explored scientific concepts while developing curiosity and critical thinking.

 Physics – Electronic Kids Development

Students explored basic electronics through hands-on activities that encouraged creativity, problem-solving, and STEM interest.

PE – Dodgeball & Handball

Fun and active games developed teamwork, coordination, communication, and sportsmanship.

Mandarin – Making Lanterns

Students explored Chinese culture through a creative lantern-making activity while developing their creativity and appreciation of cultural traditions.

The program gave students a fun glimpse into Secondary School life, showing that learning at SHB is about exploring, creating, collaborating, and growing together.
