On Monday, April 13, 2026, Hindu students from Kindergarten, Elementary, and Senior High School of Sekolah Harapan Bangsa Modernland participated in a Tirta Yatra activity to Pura Kerta Jaya. This activity aimed to strengthen faith in Ida Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa and to introduce the sanctity of places of worship from an early age.
Wearing traditional attire neatly prepared at school, the students departed together with enthusiasm while maintaining discipline throughout the journey. Upon arrival, the event began with a spiritual session led by a local religious leader, providing meaningful insights to the students.
The activity continued with a solemn group prayer conducted in the peaceful atmosphere of the temple. In addition to praying, the students also performed dana punia as an expression of gratitude and learned about the philosophical meanings of the sacred structures within the temple area.
Through this activity, students were taught to always be respectful, disciplined, and to honor places of worship. The Tirta Yatra concluded with a group photo session before returning to school, carrying the hope that these religious values and sense of togetherness will continue to be practiced in their daily lives.
