Christmas Celebration December 13, 2022 Preschool – Primary Sekolah Harapan Bangsa

Christmas is always a special time for Christians and Catholics, and also for all humanity to share joy with loved ones, families and everyone. Different from last year’s, this year’s Christmas, even though it is still in a pandemic situation, it could be celebrated together (on site) on December 13, 2022. By God’s blessing, Christmas Celebration TK-SD Sekolah Harapan Bangsa was able to run smoothly and quite lively even though still paying attention to the health protocols.

This year’s Christmas theme was “New Hope, New Beginning”, which aims to give new hope to students so that they, with this new hope, can be more enthusiastic about welcoming the new year and the ‘new era’ (new normal). Father Patrick as the speaker at this celebration also reminded students, teachers and staff about the importance of sharing and giving, just like the meaning and spirit of Christmas itself. By sharing and giving, we are also give a hope and a new beginnings to others who receive our help. It will also be a blessing, not only for them, but also for us.

In this Christmas celebration, Christian and Catholic students, from Playgroup to sixth grade, also had the opportunity to present their ‘offerings’. Some sing, dance or both. Likewise, students who are members of the “Modern Dance” extracurricular, both preschool and primary also have the opportunity to present dance performances at this Christmas celebration. Everyone feels the joy of Christmas, and may this joy continue and become the beginning of a new hope for a better life in the future.
