PRE SCHOOL’S FAITH DAY

As part of activities, Sekolah Harapan Bangsa Modernhill Kindergarten students held a Faith Day event on Tuesday 28 March 2023. This activity is very important to deepen the spirituality of students and grow their faith in living out their respective beliefs. By Faith Day activity, students can attend ceremonies/worship according to their beliefs.

The students are divided into groups according to their religion and perform rituals together accompanied by the teacher. For Hindu students, they carry out “Tirta Yatra” activities at ‘Cinere Temple’. They are carrying out activities of praying together, introducing the buildings in the temple, and end with photo session.

Buddhist students pay a visit to the “Ratana Graha Temple-Pondok Cabe”. The activity began with an introduction to the room at the monastery, ‘Pujabakti’ which was led by Pandita Gunawan. “Dhammadesana” was delivered by Bikkhu Saddhaviro about ‘the Life History of Buddha Gotama’ briefly and conducting “paramita” closed with a prayer by the monk and photo session.

Kindergarten students who are Christians and Catholics carry out activities with joy, which begins with a greeting and singing praising God. After that, the event continues by watching the superbook film, followed by “palm leaf activity” and ‘seeking eggs. The event end by praying together  

Muslims are filled with the activities of the “Dhuha Sunah Prayer” and joint ‘Tausiyah’ led by Ms Neneng. The also done some activities about “Islam” and closed with a prayer.

The event went smoothly and fun. Students was very enthusiastic in participating in Faith Day activities. This event is expected to form good student character in the family, school and community environment and be accustomed to the diversity of religions and foster an attitude of tolerance in everyday life.
