Sekolah Harapan Bangsa Modernhill recently hosted the SHB FEST and charity concert with the theme “Intertwined Worlds.” The event spanned six days, running from October 16 to October 21. Dedicated to children suffering from cancer at the Indonesian Cancer Children’s Love Foundation, this fundraising initiative featured various competitions such as basketball, English debate, e-sports, and a band competition. Numerous schools from Pondok Cabe, Tangerang, BSD, and others participated in these competitions.
Throughout the event, all students of Harapan Bangsa Modernhill School either participated in the competitions or served on the organizing committee. Supporters from other schools added to the liveliness of the event with their cheers. To conclude, a bazaar offered a variety of food and items that captivated the children’s interest.
The event came to an end on October 21 with a charity concert featuring performances from TK, SD, SMP, SMA Harapan Bangsa Modernhill students, teachers, and the main guest star, Jaz. Jaz successfully engaged the audience, resulting in continuous singing throughout the concert. Donations for the Cancer Foundation were collected throughout the concert, reaching a total of more than IDR 40,000,000.
SHB FEST Intertwined Worlds proved to be an exciting event not only for Harapan Bangsa School students but also for the broader community. The collaboration of students and teachers involved in the event played a crucial role in its success.
