The ECA Festival is an academic and artistic event aimed at showcasing students' learning outcomes over one semester through exhibitions and performances. This event is designed as a form of project-based learning evaluation while also providing students with opportunities to develop skills in various fields. Additionally, the festival serves as a communication platform between schools, students, and parents to support students' academic and non-academic development.
The ECA Festival is held over two days with a diverse range of activities. On the first day, the event begins with an art exhibition displaying students’ visual artworks as a result of their creative exploration. This is followed by a performance from the ECA Japanese program, introducing aspects of Japanese culture, and a pencak silat demonstration showcasing students’ martial arts skills rooted in traditional values. The first day concludes with the ECA socio-preneurship session, where students present their innovations and entrepreneurship projects as a form of applied learning.
On the second day, the art exhibition continues as a means of appreciating students’ creativity in the visual arts. As the afternoon approaches, the festival proceeds with performances from the ECA French and Korean programs, highlighting students’ understanding of the languages and cultures of both countries. The event reaches its peak with a traditional dance performance, symbolizing the richness and diversity of cultural heritage within the educational environment.
The ECA Festival provides significant educational benefits, both academically and in character development. Through this event, students not only showcase their learning achievements but also gain valuable experience in collaboration, communication, and creative expression in a broader setting. Thus, this festival serves as a crucial instrument in fostering a holistic and experience-based educational ecosystem.
