On Friday, April 11, 2025, Harapan Bangsa Primary School Modernhill joyfully celebrated Eid al-Fitr 1 Syawal 1446 with great enthusiasm and happiness. The celebration featured various performances by Muslim students from Grades 1 to 6, who showcased their talents on stage.
The event began with a heartfelt rendition of the sholawat “Allahu Kaafi” by Grade 1 students, setting a serene and meaningful tone. Students from Grades 5 and 6 delivered vibrant performances of Islamic songs and dances, reflecting the spirit of joy in welcoming the day of victory following a month of fasting during Ramadan.
Grades 2, 3, and 4 collaborated on a simple yet meaningful drama that portrayed the journey of fasting in Ramadan and the joy of welcoming Eid al-Fitr. The drama came to life with the resonating chants of takbir and touching moments of students greeting one another as a symbol of mutual forgiveness. Following the students’ performances, the event then continued with a puppet show presented by Kak Budi, who conveyed the importance of mutual respect, the spirit of sharing, and religious tolerance.
To conclude the celebration, the entire Harapan Bangsa Primary School Modernhill family exchanged greetings and handshakes in turn, fostering an atmosphere of warmth and unity. This moment symbolized brotherhood and the spirit of Eid al-Fitr, celebrated not only by Muslim students but by the entire Harapan Bangsa School community. This celebration stands as a testament that Eid al-Fitr is a time for humanity to forgive one another, to share with others, and to strengthen the bonds of togetherness—instilling the value of sincerity to promote unity in diversity.
