To me, family communication means creating a bond or relationship through talking, chatting, and calling each other. Family communication is important because it helps us understand each other better. I mostly communicate with my brother, but unfortunately, we often end up arguing. Sometimes my dad and I talk. It doesn’t happen really often because he's usually occupied with work..
Typically, we only engage in conversation when I need something or have a question. However, this doesn't mean that I'm not close to him; we also spend time playing video games together. I have more frequent conversations with my mom than with my dad. These interactions usually take place at night when she's done with the chores.
I seldom call or text my grandparents. Generally, we prefer face-to-face conversations when we want to communicate. I used to frequently call my cousin to play games together, but now our chats have become infrequent. We often meet up at the mall to spend time together.
While I don't often meet my paternal grandparents, I see my maternal grandpa almost every day. Typically, I meet my grandparents during weekends and holidays. I use my phone to stay in touch with my grandparents, usually by calling them.
I use electronic devices to communicate with my family. I prefer making calls over sending texts. I find it much more convenient to communicate this way, as it saves us the trouble of having to meet up every time we want to stay connected.
