Woken up to a blue bird by my side 

It flew away as fast as it came 

The sun peeked through the window kissing my forehead

Burying my head deeper to the comfort of soft pillows and sheets

Lazyly getting up as I leave my comfort zone 

Having to do what needs to be done

Time speeds up before I can catch up

Before I knew it I had to leave

The outside world is amazing 

But I’ll always long for you 

I’ll always come back to you 

Sometimes even days are passed by without you 

When I finally get back to you after hours and days

The first step always fill me with comfort

The familiar scent of the warm air 

The sight that I’ve missed so much 

I’m finally back to you 

Your back to me

I’ll long for you as far as the eye could see 

You’ll always wait for me until I’m back to you
