Kiddy Club and Playgroup Guest for Learning “Sprinkle & Smile: Cupcake Creations”

On Friday, May 8th, 2026, SHB Preschool Modernland hosted a special Guest for learning activity, “Sprinkle & Smile: Cupcake Creations,” for Kiddy Club and Playgroup students. The event invited Novi Design Cakes, a custom cake business well-known for its kid-friendly, low-sugar creations in Jakarta and Tangerang.

Guided warmly by Aunty Novi and Kak Cinta, the activity helped develop the students' concentration, hand-eye coordination, creativity, independence, and confidence through simple step-by-step learning experiences.

Before the activity began, the students were reminded of four lovely rules: do not be angry, do not cry, do not fight, and always smile while creating their cupcakes.

To introduce good hygiene habits, the students first washed their hands and wore plastic gloves before listening carefully to the cupcake decorating demonstration. Each student received two cupcakes to decorate using buttercream, chocolate sprinkles, and colourful cartoon cupcake toppers that were familiar and exciting for the children.

With patience and enthusiasm, the students spread the buttercream, sprinkled the chocolate toppings, and carefully placed the toppers onto their cupcakes. 

At the end of the session, the students proudly showed their cupcake creations with happy smiles on their faces. The event became a meaningful learning experience that combined fun, creativity, independence, and character building in a positive classroom atmosphere.
