Corona Virus Affects Us All

Over these past few months, there is this new virus arising. It's called the COVID-19, stands for Coronavirus disease or also infamously known as Corona. The hysteria of this new pandemic is increasing every day. I think that people are being too worried, but I do support taking precautionary measures against the virus.

Until today, there have been 19 positive cases in Indonesia. This recent news has shocked the whole country. I've heard people saying that it would lead to a global recession. Another impact it made is the decrease in the labour of young pilots, and some of them already have got their salaries cut.

A few schools in Indonesia have been shut down due to this deadly infectious virus. However, none of the Sekolah Harapan Bangsa schools has been shut down, but the teachers have been telling us to take precautions. Moreover, we have our body temperature checked every morning, and we must also use the hand antiseptic provided by the school, as we walk through the school's entrance.

The principal of SHB Cambridge, Ms. Silvana Hermosa, has been giving us updates and advice on Corona. I hope that Indonesia and the whole world could quickly find the cure already and end this epidemic soon.
