In today’s world, technology plays a crucial role in our daily lives. Over the years, it has changed the way people communicate, making it easier and more convenient. However, some argue that it can also create distance between individuals.

On the one hand, technology does bring people closer together. For example, when you are studying abroad and living far away from your family, you may not be able to meet them physically, but you can still keep in touch through calls or messages. Another example is reconnecting with old friends through social media. This shows that technology helps us stay connected with our loved ones.

On the other hand, technology may also create distance between people. It is important to remember that communication is not the only use of technology; it is also widely used for work and entertainment. With more advanced technology, people tend to become too busy with their work or too absorbed in online games. As a result, they may spend more time online and neglect their relationships with family members. This can create a gap between individuals.

In conclusion, technology has both advantages and disadvantages, especially in terms of communication. In my opinion, it has more positive effects because it allows us to stay connected and build new relationships more easily. However, we must use it wisely to prevent it from becoming a disadvantage.
