Childhood Incident

When I was 8 years old my parent's cousin invited my family to go to their house for dinner. After we arrived at their house, we sat down to eat and our parents were talking together at the dining table while the kids were eating on the couch and watching tv. After I finished my food, I went to put the plate in the dishwasher. Bored, I decided to walk around the house. Then I just went back to the couch to play with the other kids. I remember I was kneeling on the couch so I fell over and hit my forehead on the glass table nearby. The table was shattered, but I didn't feel any pain at first until I realized what had happened. My parents rushed me to the hospital because I was bleeding a lot. In the end, I got stitches. Luckily, there was nothing too serious and my wound healed up quickly.
