Motorbike Accident

One Wednesday morning, I was getting ready for school when my friend randomly called me and asked me to pick her up so we could go to school together. After I finished getting ready, I left my house on my motorcycle and went to her house before heading to school to pick her up. I was riding, and everything was going well; we were laughing, talking, and gossiping about the drama happening at school. Suddenly, my friend suggested that we go to the convenience store before school. Since we had some time, we decided to go and get snacks.

After we had purchased our snacks for the day, we left the store and were on our way to school. My friend had already warned me to be careful because she had a bad feeling that something was going to happen. So, I did my best to be cautious. However, as I was about to make a right turn just before arriving at school, a rock from a nearby construction site got caught in my front wheel while I was making the turn. We fell over and got stuck under the motorcycle for a good minute until someone helped us get it off. My leg was trapped between small rocks on the ground and a metal bar from my motorcycle. When I got up from the ground, I felt blood dripping down my legs and arms, along with scratches all over. Fortunately, my friend’s injuries weren’t as severe as mine, and she wasn’t too upset about the accident.

Thankfully, we were close to the school and received help from a passing car that drove us the rest of the way. We were immediately taken to the nurse’s office to have our injuries checked. I was doing okay while the nurse was cleaning my wounds and scratch marks, while my friend was crying hysterically in pain as the nurse applied rubbing alcohol to clean her cuts. After we were both treated and checked by the nurse, she advised that I should go home because I might have sprained my ankle from having the motorcycle on top of it, while my friend was allowed to continue with school. So, I went home, and it turned out that I didn’t have a sprained ankle after all. Everything ended up being okay, except for my motorcycle, which was dented and needed servicing.
