When people hear the phrase “a healthy lifestyle,” they often think about eating healthy foods such as vegetables, fruits, and proteins, exercising four times a week, or getting eight hours of sleep every night. However, a healthy lifestyle is not only about these aspects. It also includes maintaining good mental health.
Even if you eat healthily, exercise regularly, and get enough sleep, you may still feel sad or unfulfilled. In such cases, it's important to focus on your mental health while maintaining your healthy lifestyle. Poor mental health can affect your appetite, physical health, sleep patterns, and more.
If eating only fruits and vegetables makes you feel sad or uncomfortable, strive for a balance between healthy and less healthy foods. Additionally, surround yourself with people you love and engage in hobbies that bring you joy. This holistic approach ensures both your physical and mental well-being, leading to a truly healthy lifestyle.
