Clay Play Day: A Fun and Creative Pottery Experience

Our preschool students had a wonderful time getting their hands messy and their imaginations flowing during “Clay Play Day” on Friday, September 4, 2026. This special pottery activity gave the children a joyful opportunity to explore the fascinating world of clay while creating something truly special—their very own creativity.

The activity began with an exciting introduction and demonstration by the instructor from Rumah Tanah Liat Citra, who warmly introduced the children to clay and showed them how to shape and create their own creations. The students watched with great curiosity and enthusiasm before eagerly putting their new skills into practice.

Before getting started, the children put on their aprons to keep their clothes clean and make them feel comfortable as they explored the clay. With their little hands, they rolled, pressed, shaped, and moulded the clay, turning a simple piece of clay into something unique and meaningful. It was wonderful to see their creativity shine as each child added their own special touch to their creation.

More than just a fun activity, Clay Play Day was a meaningful hands-on learning experience. Through pottery, the children had the opportunity to strengthen their fine motor skills, concentration, creativity, imagination, and confidence, while also learning to follow instructions and enjoy the process of creating something with their own hands.

The smiles and excitement on their faces said it all! The students were incredibly proud and happy to see their little clay creations come to life. Clay Play Day was truly a memorable experience filled with creativity, discovery, and lots of happy little hands.
