On Friday, September 4, 2026, Grade 6 students participated in a Fun Learning activity at SHB3 Modernland. This activity provided students with creative, interactive, and enjoyable learning experiences. They learned through teamwork activities that encouraged them to explore new concepts, communicate their ideas, and complete assigned tasks together.
To enhance this initiative, the school paired our primary learners with Junior High School student mentors. The results were extraordinary. By changing the learning environment and encouraging peer-to-peer collaboration, we saw a significant increase in student engagement, understanding, and social-emotional development. Most importantly, the activity provided students with opportunities to create, ask questions, move, experiment, and communicate.
Through nine different subjects—Mathematics, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, English, Chinese, History, Economics, and Geography—students developed a variety of skills while enjoying themselves and learning together.
Learning does not always require books or worksheets. Sometimes, a simple game, conversation, experiment, or creative project can provide a valuable learning experience. When students are encouraged to explore at their own pace and follow their curiosity, learning can become something they genuinely enjoy.
We hope the students enjoyed these activities and look forward to seeing them again next year!
