Students arriving late to class has been a problem that always exists. This has affected the whole class in many ways, but especially by slowing down our learning process. Our teacher has had to repeat things, which makes us move to the next topic slowly. This made some students, including me, feel bored in class and lose interest in studying.
There is, however, a solution that I believe will fix the problem, which is that we should start classes later. First of all, starting lessons later would mean that students don't have many excuses to be late. They are given more time to finish whatever they are doing and arrive at class on time. Secondly, teachers wouldn’t need to repeat things since most of the students should already be present in the class. There might still of course be some who are late to class, but they should face the consequences themselves. They should be catching up to us, not the other way around.
In conclusion, to solve this problem, I think that we should start lessons later because students won’t have many excuses to be late and that teachers wouldn’t need to repeat things since most students are already in the class.
