The pros and cons of the internet

Around the 20th century, the internet was invented. It changes the world, including how we communicate with each other, learn information, entertain ourselves, and many more. While the internet seems exciting with all the good things it can do, there are still a lot of bad things you need to watch out for. The internet can entertain people; for example, Youtube. Youtube was created in February 2005 by three former PayPal employees, namely Chad Hurley, Steve Chen, and Jawed Karim. Then in November 2006 it was acquired by Google. It is one of the most popular entertainment sources on the internet. The internet also makes learning easier. With search engines (Like Google or Yahoo), you can look up information really fast. Just type in your browser’s search box and instantly learn new stuff. However, you need to watch out for bad stuff. Viruses can be hidden in websites on the internet and they can ruin your computer. Also, Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) can be used by bad people to hide themselves and do bad things. In conclusion, you can do so much cool stuff easily but you still have to watch out for bad things on the internet. The internet is a good tool to use if you know how to avoid bad things on it. If it were not for the internet, we would do things way slower than now.
