Halal bihalal became a meaningful moment for all students from Grade 1 to Grade 6. On Monday, April 6th, 2026, this morning’s event was held by students and teachers after a long holiday coinciding with the celebrations of Easter, Nyepi, and Eid al-Fitr. The activity took place in the primary hall with a warm and friendly atmosphere. All students attended neatly and enthusiastically, as did the teachers who welcomed them with warm smiles.
The event began with a short speech reminding everyone of the importance of forgiving one another and strengthening relationships after the long break. Values such as mutual respect, appreciating differences, and maintaining unity were the main messages conveyed. Despite coming from diverse backgrounds, the entire school community was able to gather in a peaceful and familial atmosphere.
The highlight of the halal bihalal was marked by students and teachers exchanging handshakes. Students from Grade 1 to Grade 6 took turns sincerely asking for forgiveness, followed by the teachers who warmly responded while offering prayers and encouragement. The atmosphere was both emotional and joyful, creating a memorable experience for everyone present.
Through this activity, it is hoped that all students will better understand the importance of maintaining good relationships with others, both within the school environment and beyond. Halal bihalal is not merely a tradition, but also a real character-building activity where values of kindness, sincerity, and togetherness are instilled from an early age.
