English Day 2

[:en]On the 27th of April, 2017, Sekolah Harapan Bangsa 3 celebrated the second English day of the academic year 2016/2017. English Day has been a part of SHB culture and it serves as a day dedicated for students to let them practice their English.

On this English Day, each class was asked to decorate a booth in an English-speaking country theme. The themes include: Singapore, New Zealand, Ireland, America, Australia and Wales. They had to present interesting facts about the culture of the country, including the history, geographical features, customs and food. The fascination was not only it; they also performed the traditional dance of the country. To reward their efforts and dedication for this English Day, interesting prizes were given for the best booths.

[:id]Pada tanggal 27 April 2017, Sekolah Harapan Bangsa 3 menyelenggarakan English Day kedua pada tahun ajaran 2016/2017. English Day telah sejak lama menjadi bagian dari budaya SHB yang diperuntukkan sebagai sebuah wadah dimana para siswa dapat menggunakan bahasa Inggris.

Pada English Day kali ini, tiap kelas diminta untuk menghias booth dengan tema negara pengguna Bahasa Inggris. Adapun tema negara yang ada ialah: Singapura, Selandia Baru, Irlandia, Amerika, Australia dan Wales. Para siswa harus mempresentasikan fakta menarik seperti sejarah, keadaan geografis, budaya dan makanan negara tersebut. Hadiah menarik diberikan bagi booth terbaik
