Aaayyee everyone,
Okay to be honest this is my first time writing this kind of things and I’ve been thinking about what kind of topic I should write since the morning of 28 November. I don’t know what date you’re reading this so… well, then I came up with a good one, compassion. Sweet, right? Anyway, there’s this stray dog that’s been living around in my neighbourhood. It’s a she if, you know, for your information and also lets call her Adler. Well this stray dog fell in love with one of my neighbour’s dog; let’s say his name is Lestrade. They, you know, and together they have 6 pups, if I’m not mistaken. Two were given away, two died and two stays with their mother let’s call them Deanna and Tessa.
So Adler, Tessa and Deanna are basically living not inside a house, but in a small park where Tessa and Deanna use to hide under a stack of unused roof as their shelter. By the way, Adler as a stray dog, sometimes rumble through trash and mess around with it. This doesn’t happen a lot and I guess my neighbour who owns that trash didn’t really troubles with that. I don’t think most people really think that it’s a big problem since the cats does that a lot more so they’re pretty much used to it.
Anyone but this particular person. I was playing with the pups casually with the nice neighbour, who likes to feed them and gave them shelter sometimes, then this pesky neighbour came and mention about the trash problem. He said that we should’ve thrown this dogs away since they only ruins the environment and the view’s getting dirty because of what they’ve done. He really pushed that point hard into our brain like he’s trying to make sure that we’ll get our minds united and throw those babes away. Then he left. It’s nothing, really. It’s not even his trash but he definitely cares about the environment right? He just said those words with harsh tone to us but that’s fine, right? But by saying that I personally thinks that he lacks compassion towards stray animals especially dogs.
This puts me against his opinion. I know it’s annoying, it really is. But don’t you think getting rid of the dogs are the best way for both human and animal? Come on, man. It’s almost December 2015. I think, instead of throwing those dogs away why not show more compassion to them? The children around also loves Adler and her two pups. I love them. He broke my heart, really but whatever right?
But hey that’s not the only thing under this compassion topic haha. Many people also had their heart broken just like me even harder, I guess. It’s almost Christmas, people. I really think that we should show more compassion towards others. This doesn’t only goes to us people but also other creations such as trees and dogs. Show more compassion towards this earth as you know this earth is in pain somehow. I know it’s not Valentine’s iconic romantic love but its Christmas so, you know, humongous general love for everyone.
To those who got problems I believe you can find a way out and I suggest finish it quickly because Christmas is coming yay. To those who feel upset or dull, remember Christmas is coming and wow I’m so excited about this year. Reminding back about my topic, compassion, this is the time of the year where you make peace with everyone, excuse their flaw since everyone is perfectly imperfect and simply be happy. Look back and realize how fortunate you are that you’re here. How loved you are by the Man-Up-Above that you still have your loved ones no matter how painful they can be sometimes. If you think you’re sad, be grateful about it. Knowing you feel sad means that you’ve felt happiness before and you definitely should be extremely grateful about it. Not to exaggerate but you should. Realize that whatever problems you have means that you can have a chance to practice your problem solving skill, don’t run away and solve it like a true warrior.
I think I might’ve gone off track a bit but I guess I can say that this is one way I show compassion towards you all who read this. Oh well.
See the bright side, embrace the dark side.
