Every year Indonesia celebrates its independence day. On August 17^th 2019 Indonesia celebrates its 74^th independence day. Every Indonesian student will surely have a ceremony in fields, school buildings and other places.

Why we do the ceremony? Because, the ceremony commemorates the fighters who expelled the occupiers from the Indonesian state. There were a lot of Indonesian freedom fighters, but I will mention who was the most important for Indonesian Independence. The person who stood out during Indonesia’s independence was Pak Soekarno. He was Indoneisa’s first president and proclaimed Indonesia’s independence so that Indonesia would not be colonized again.

We must have a perspective like him, because he had strong leadership and was determined to sacrifice himself for the Indonesian state and until now we live without colonisers from a foreign country.

The motivation I give to the reader is, if it’s too easy to give up one thing, look at how Indonesia Fighters were dying for Indonesian independence. We can improve Indonesia by becoming educated students.
