Movie Review (Imperfect)

This movie is about a girl named Rara who is overweight. She has been bullied since she was a kid and compares her looks with her little sister named Lulu who is georgous. The only person that has always stayed beside her is her father, but now no one wants to be with her since her father has passed away.

As time goes by, she is still the same person as she was except she’s fatter than before. Despite being fat, she has a boyfriend who loves her no matter what.

While she’s working, there is an announcement that her boss has fired his assistant. Rara thinks that this is the best opportunity for her to be his new assistant, because she thinks that she’s good enough to replace his ex-assistant. Sadly, she has a competitor that looks better than her physically. In the end, Rara is the one who gets called by her boss. He says that she has to change her appearance because being good looking is important for the company.

Two months later Rara has transformed from an overweight girl into a very beautiful woman. Then somehow she gets respect from her colleagues. Because of her new career, she becomes the person who is constantly playing with her phone, doesn’t care about her relationship, and only looks at people’s appearance.

At the end of the movie, she finally realizes that it’s not always about pleasing people who don’t actually really care about and that she transformed into someone who’s not really her, but it’s about appreciating people who truly love you.
