Students are considering getting a pet and are discussing it with their classmates. So, should you get one? Nowadays, there are multiple reasons to get a pet but there are some drawbacks to take into account.

One of the reasons for getting a pet is that it can keep you company when you’re alone at home. You can play and have fun with the pet by doing all sorts of activities such as playing fetch if you decide to get a dog. Furthermore, these activities can act like your exercise so it is healthy for you.

On the other hand, owning a pet carries a lot of responsibility. You have to be able to take care of it properly and feed it. Moreover, it requires you to invest your time and money. For example, you have to buy food and treats for your pet to enjoy. Plus, you have to make sure it is healthy by taking it to a vet regularly for a check up.

All in all, I think it is worth it to get a pet. It can be really rewarding and it will make you happy despite all the drawbacks.
