Homework is the most common daily task that students must do other than attending classes. Doing homework is also a student’s obligation. Students should be given homework every day to be successful at school. People could have different perspectives regarding this statement. Some may agree and some may not.
Those who agree with the statement probably think that giving homework to students daily could have improved students’ knowledge. By doing this every day students can then recall the things they have learned at school, and make sure that they understand what they have learned before.
However, one of the reasons why people disagree with the statement is that this action could be a burden for students. They need to do those tasks after going through a tiring day at school and finishing their homework at home resulting in not having enough time to rest. It is very important for students to have separate time to rest from their school tasks. They have enough time to study during school hours, and homework is not necessary to be given every day for them. Recalling what they have learned at school could be done by doing quizzes or tests during school hours.
Personally, I did not support the statement that says students need to be given homework every day. This is because homework could become a burden for students. Giving a proper amount of homework could be accepted if it does not disturb students’ personal time after school hours.
