Home Alone

One time I was home alone after school. I was trying to set up my laptop in a position to play games. I was so tired that I pulled the cable reel to plug in my laptop charger, and suddenly my lights went out. My brother tried to fix it while I was searching for the problem. After a few minutes, the lights came back on, and I was very happy. I went back to my room to relax when I realized that it was the only room that remained dark. I asked my brother what had happened, but he didn't know. He was trying to check the electrical socket while I held a flashlight for him. Then he noticed that the cable reel I had pulled was burned at the bottom. I was shocked when I realized I had almost died.
