Our Jogja field trip!

We have entered a new year, which means there will be more things to experience throughout the year. One of the things us Sekolah Harapan Bangsa students will experience is going on a field trip to Jogja. Jogja has many things for us to be exploring which is why Sekolah Harapan Bangsa chose Jogja for our field trip this year. Of course, not only Jogja has many things to experience but many other cities to, that is why each year the field trips destination is different. With that student not only can experience fun things but students can also learn more about the amazing culture that Indonesia has. 

This year’s field trip is happening on the 30^th of January. We will take a bus from our school to the train station. Then we will use the train to go from Jakarta to Jogja. When we arrive at Jogja there will be a bus waiting for us outside preparing to bring us to the hotel. There will be 2 different hotels that we will be staying in. There are so many activities that we will do on our field trip, many places that we will be visiting. We will be visiting the museum, playing in the mud, etc. Of course, we won’t just play around but we will still study. How, you may ask? The answer is because some certain subjects assigned us some tasks that we will be doing on our Jogja trip. Such as vlogging, writing our journal, creating posters and many other fun tasks.

By having field trips there will be many benefits. Some of the benefits are creating memories. It is important to create good memories with your friends, teachers and for your own self. The other benefit is having effective learning, sometimes it can get boring when you learn from books and whiteboard most of the time, you can also learn from your surroundings which helps learning easier and fun. Another one is social interaction and the helps of forming a friendship. Because there will be groups that contain 7th, 8^th, and 9^th graders together. With that, it can help the improvement of the socialization of each student. The ones I mentioned are not even half of the other benefits, there are still many more benefits of the field trip. With that, the field trip is a awesome experience.
