Graduation 2025 – Grade 6
Graduation is a special moment that marks the end of a student’s educational journey. For elementary school students, graduation is the culmination of all their hard work as they complete their primary education. It is a form of recognition for their perseverance, effort, and dedication throughout the years.
This year, Harapan Bangsa Elementary School carries the theme “Shining Bright, Soaring High”, symbolizing the spirit to keep shining (becoming the best version of oneself), to dream big, and to chase aspirations as high as the sky. In short, it reflects the spirit and hope for continuous growth and a bright future.
During the ceremony, graduates wear gowns and caps as symbols of academic achievement. They receive diplomas or certificates to mark their graduation. The event also features speeches from the Deputy Chairperson of Harapan Bangsa Indonesia Education Foundation, Mrs. Indra T. Honoris, the Principal, Ms. Emy Sumardja, and three student representatives who deliver motivational messages: Eduard Tangguh Laksana, 6A (Chinese), Caroline Khanza Susanto, 6B (English), and Gracia Kylie Zhang, 6C (Bahasa Indonesia).
Graduation is not just about completion, but also about farewells, memories, and the beginning of a new journey. These memories are beautifully captured in the “Student’s Performance” by each class. Class 6A performs “Our Farewell Song”, Class 6B performs “Pasti Dapat”, and Class 6C sings a Chinese song titled “我相信 (Wo Xiang Xin)”. These heartfelt performances convey a deep and touching farewell message.
After graduation, students will face new challenges as they move on to junior high school. At this new level, they are expected to develop personally and explore their interests and talents further.
This moment is also a source of pride for families, teachers, and everyone who has supported the graduates. Their achievements are truly meaningful for their parents and teachers. The award for “Best Academic and Best in English” goes to Kathleen Tjitrahardja (6C). The Best in Chinese award goes to: Level A – Kennard Ignatius Sudibyo (6B), Level B – Gracia Kylie Zhang (6B), and Level C – Navaro Kinley (6A).
These achievements show that graduation is not only a celebration of success but also a stepping stone toward a promising future.
Congratulations to all Grade 6 students and our outstanding awardees. You are truly amazing. Keep striving at the next level. God bless you all.
