Ultimate Frisbee

On Friday the 27th of November , 2015 , we will be having our first English Day of this academic year. We will have 2 games for the students and a glass decorating activity.
For our grade 4 , 5 , 6 students , one of the activities at the soccer field will be Frisbee throwing to match words to categories.
In America and a few other countries , Ultimate Frisbee , is a very popular college sport. Ultimate Frisbee is similar to American football , gridiron , in that the Frisbee is thrown for team mates to catch and score points at the end of the field.
It is a fast , non-contact sport which involves a lot of running and skill for throwing the Frisbee and catching it. Men and women can play together and it is also great to watch. Interestingly , Ultimate Frisbee , is a self-governed sport which means that the players control the game without a referee.
It is estimated that more than 5 million people play in America and it is also popular in countries such as Japan , Australia , and Canada. It may soon be an Olympic sport too.
You can buy your own Frisbee at stores like Gramedia , Hypermart , Carrefour and many toy stores. They are not expensive !! Find a park and enjoy something different.
