The Importance of Language

English is the second language that used in Indonesia. Why English was really importance? English bridges us or connects us all day with the people all around the world. All countries learn English for communication. So many people used English for work, school, communication, chatting, and many things. English really helps us a lot. When we have friend or strangers from another country, the language that they’ll talk is usually English, not their own native language. English makes us understand each other. English makes us closer and helps us build a friendship.

Some people don’t know the benefit of learning English. We don’t really realize the importance of learning English. Sometime we just keep asking why we need to learn English. So many people said “I don’t need English for work”. It’s your opinion now! Do you think that after 10 years the world will be the same as now? The world will completely change. You need English to make a better life. If you always try to speak English and you speak English very well, people will respect you as well. They will be nicer to you because of appreciation. If you are smart enough to be hired, but you don’t have any English skills, you will absolutely be rejected from the work.

How about improving your English skills? To improve our English skills, we must speak English more often, no matter it is wrong or right. We also must listen to a lot of English native conversations when they are speaking, so we know how they speak well. If we speak a lot of English, it can make our pronunciation better and our speech will be more fluently. We also can read English books, watch English movie and talk English. These are some ways to improve your English skills. We can also write our diary or our story in English, if we have a free time to make our grammar better.
