Movie Review: Attack on Titan

The anime is called Attack on Titan, it is based on the manga Attack on Titan by Hajime Isayama. It is about the protagonist, Eren Yaeger, who aspires to eradicate all the titans from existence and be free.

At the beginning of the story, humanity lived on an island and is isolated from the outside world by walls. Outside the walls, there are man-eating creatures called titans. The walls block off the tians from humans. Most people liked the peace they had in the walls. While some people are dissatisfied with being contained in walls and not doing anything to fight against the titans, such as most in a regiment called the Survey Corps. Eren Yaeger was once one of the former. Until his friend, Armin Arlet, showed him a book he found about the outside world. Since then, he admired and yearned to join the Survey Corps.

In the year 845, the outermost wall, Wall Maria, was breached, in which Eren, Armin, and Mikasa, the adopted child of the Yaeger family, lived. Titans entered the district and fed on people. One of the humans who died that day was Eren's mother. Eren was furious and frustrated to see his mother eaten in front of him, and he was unable to help her. The 3 evacuated to Wall Rose. Eren seek for vengeance, resulting in his eagerness to join the Survey Corps even stronger.

This story has an amazing storyline. The turns of events, the characters, and the progress and details are incredibly well made. It has action, fantasy, politics, and some comedy. The only people who should not watch or read this are children because of the amount of violence in it.
