23 – 24 March 2018

            On Friday, 23 March and Saturday, 24 March 2018, Sekolah Harapan Bangsa and Universitas Multimedia Nusantara held FTV Camp, a workshop on how to make short movies. Forty one students of Sekolah Harapan Bangsa signed up for this program.

The workshop started at 1 p.m. at Sekolah harapan Bangsa Modernland. After a brief introduction session, the students enthusiastically heard the instructors talk about the basic theories and principles of how to use cameras for movie making. The students then sat in groups and were assigned to do different tasks (director, director assistant, editor, script writer, etc). The students then had dinner and took a shower before they spent the night at school, together with the teachers.

We are hoping that this program can enlighten the students of Sekolah Harapan Bangsa with knowledge and skills, so that they can continue making creative crafts.

On the second day, the students left for Universitas Multimedia Nusantara in the morning. As they arrived, they hunted the best spots for their movie shots, guided by the instructors. Then, each group presented their short movies. The students gave valuable feedbacks to each other, and that’s the end of FTV Camp.

23 – 24 Maret 2018

            Pada hari Jumat, 23 Maret dan Sabtu, 24 Maret 2018, Sekolah Harapan Bangsa dan Universitas Multimedia Nusantara mengadakan FTV Camp, sebuah program pelatihan bagi para siswa tentang bagaimana membuat film pendek. Sebanyak 41 siswa Sekolah Harapan Bangsa mendaftar untuk program ini.

Pelatihan hari pertama dimulai jam 1 siang, bertempat di sekolah. Setelah sesi perkenalan, siswa dengan antusias menyimak penjelasan para instruktur mengenai teori dan prinsip dasar menggunakan kamera. Para siswa lalu masuk dalam kelompok dan membagi tugas (sutradara, asisten sutradara, editor, penulis naskah, dll) untuk membuat film pendek. Setelah makan malam dan mandi, hari itu diakhiri dengan menginap di sekolah bersama para guru pendamping.

Pada hari kedua, para siswa berangkat ke Universitas Multimedia Nusantara pagi hari. Sesampainya disana, para siswa segera mencari tempat untuk shooting film pendek dengan pendampingan para instruktur. Masing-masing kelompok lalu mempresentasikan film mereka. Setelah saling memberikan evaluasi satu sama lain, acara FTV Camp pun berakhir.

Semoga acara ini dapat memberikan wawasan dan ketrampilan yang dapat berguna untuk mengorbankan semangat dan kreatifitas para siswa sekolah Harapan Bangsa untuk berkarya
