Kindness comes in packages of all sorts, shapes and sizes! May each one of us find our own way of expressing it, today and all days.
Here are some ideas to inject some extra kindness into you life.
1. Say “Good morning” to a person standing next to you.
2. Say “I love you” to someone you love.
3. Each time you get a new item of clothing, give away something old.
4. Say “please” and “thank you”—and really mean it.
5. When you're on a crowded train or bus, offer your seat to an elderly, disabled or pregnant person.
6. Don't interrupt when someone is explaining herself.
7. Put your shopping cart back in its place.
8. Listen with all your senses.
9. Simply say “I'm sorry” when you're wrong.
10. Throw away your trash—and someone else's—after a movie, picnic or visit to a park.
11. Ask someone “How are you really doing?”—and then really list
