On Wednesday, 13^th December 2017 Sekolah Harapan Bangsa Preschool and Primary held a simple Christmas Service. The event began at 9 am in the school foyer with an opening speech by the principal Ms. Theresia Listiyawati and an opening prayer. The MC’s Mr. Andre and Ms. Linda led the audience in simple praise and worship before the performances began.

The performances were so entertaining. All students Christian, Catholic, Muslim, Buddhist and Hindu alike had smiles on their faces watching their young friends from Preschool and Lower Primary perform. KC done simple movements to Jingle Bells, PG sang and moved along to

After the performances we heard a Christmas Story from the GKI Cinere, Sunday School team. Through the story the team explained the origins of Christmas through simple drama that was suitable for all students. Through this simple story students of all faiths were able to learn about an important event in their Christian and Catholics friends lives and therefore in the spirit of harmony learn tolerance.

The next performances were from the Pre school Modern Dance CCA team and the teachers who sang Jingle Bells both in English and Mandarin. Before the event ended the Parents Support Group on behalf of all parents gave a holiday message and symbol of their appreciation to all teachers and staff in which several representatives can onto stage on behalf of the entire SHB community.

After the closing prayer students returned to class and received their lunch to take home.We wish everyone safe holidays and a Happy New Year, and Merry Christmas to all those who celebrate it.[:zh]

2017年12月13日，现代山庄民望学校的小学及幼儿园一起举行圣诞节活动。活动于早上九点开始，全校师生在学校的小广场集合，活动开始前大家进行祈祷，接着是校长上台致开幕词，然后主持人Mr. Andre 和 Ms. Linda带领大家唱圣诞歌曲。

今天的演出非常的精彩，所有信仰基督教，天主教，伊斯兰教，佛教和印度教的学生都开心地欣赏着台上同学们的表演。

KC小朋友以简单有趣的动作跳“铃儿响叮当”，PG小朋友边唱边跳Christmas Freeze，KA学生表演的舞蹈是“圣诞小舞蹈”和“Merry Twistmas”，KB学生表演的节目是舞蹈 “All I want for Christmas is You”、“Jingle Bells”和唱“I Give it to You Lord”。一年级表演的舞蹈是“Jingle Bells Rock”，二年级表演的舞蹈是“Santa Claus is Coming to Town”。

表演完以后，The GKI Cinere基督教会主日学的老师上台给学生讲圣诞节的故事。老师通过简单的演示来解释圣诞节的来源，通过这个简短的故事，让其他教徒的学生都能了解基督和天主教的重要节日，因此让学生在这个和谐的环境中学会宽容。

接着是幼儿园课外舞蹈班的现代舞蹈，然后是全体老师一起合唱英文版和中文版的“铃儿响叮当”。

活动最后是家长代表上台致词，并代表所有家长向所有的教师和工作人员表示感谢。民望学校的教师和员工的代表上台接收家长赠予的纪念品。

活动结束后，学生回到教室，领了午餐后回家。

 [:id]Hari Rabu 13 Desember 2017 Sekolah Harapan Bangsa TK dan SD mengadakan acara perayaan Natal. Acara dimulai pada pukul 09.00 WIB dan dibuka dengan sambutan dengan doa dan sambutan dari Ms. Theresia Listiyawati. Mr Andre dan Ms Linda membawa para penonton untuk menyanyikan beberapa pujian dan lagu sebelum acara dimulai.

Semua penampilan sangat menghibur. Seluruh siswa-siswi yang beragama Kristen, Islam, Budha dan Hindu sangat menyukai penampilan yang dibawakan oleh teman-temannya dari TK dan SD.KC menari  “Jingle Bells” , PG menyanyi dan menari “Christmas Freeze”. Kelas KA menari lagu Mandarin ““Shengdan Xiao Wudao” dan juga “Merry Twistmas” dan kelaqs KB menari dengan ceria lagu “All I want for Christmas is You”, serta menyanyi dan menari medley  “Jingle Bells -I Give it to You Lord”.

Selain penampilan dari kelas TK dan SD, tim CCA tari modern juga menari “Jingle Bells” dan guru-guru yang menyanyi lagu “Jingle Bells” dalam bahasa Inggris dan Mandarin. Setelah semua penampilan selesai, kami mendengarkan

Cerita Natal dari GKI Cinere, tim sekolah minggu. Melalui cerita dan drama ini, dijelaskan keutuhan cerita Natal dan penjelasan yang mudah dicerna oleh siswa-siswi. Merekanpun dapat lebih menghargai pentingnya keharmonian dan toleransi antara teman se-agama ataupun tidak. Sebelum acara berakhir PSG Sekolah Harapan Bangsa memberikan penghargaan kepada guru dan staff Sekolah Harapan Bangsa secara simbolis.Setelah doa penutup, kami mengucapakan Selamat Natal bagi yang merayakan dan Tahun Baru serta Selamat Liburan untuk semua.
